Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda
Make your first visit of the day at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda – the pagoda of the enormous Reclining Buddha image with 65 meters long and 16 meters high. Spend some time to walk around, feel the peaceful aura before moving to the 2000-year-old Sule Pagoda. Under the country’s legend, the pagoda was constructed 2600 years ago during the time of the Buddha. Along with the rapid pace of the city development, the pagoda has remained its charm and become one of the main attractions to visit in Yangon. Afterward, take a short break and savor with Shan noodle in a local restaurant before continuing your afternoon sightseeing.
Following your Yangon city tour after a cozy lunch with a visit to explore the vibrant local market of Bogyoke (Scotts), the largest bazaar in Yangon where you will find an array of food, clothes, handicrafts, and gems stores.

Later, transfer to the National Museum to view the collection of the finest Burmese art, history, and culture especially the 8-meter high Golden Lion Throne before visiting the most highlight of the city Shwedagon Pagoda – one of the world’s most spectacular pagodas. Complete your Yangon city tour with an extended visit to Karaweik Hall, also known as Karaweik Palace – a perfect destination in Yangon that you can discover authentic Burmese traditional performances, arts, and crafts. Situated on Kandawgyi Lake, the hall looks as if a giant golden barge emerging out of the water.
