Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised.While the website promises a “the highest standard and comfort” and refined à la carte dining, we encountered a very different experience:Dirty and poorly maintained ship – Stained tablecloths, filthy carpets, marked bed linens, and a strong smell of rotting drains in the suite’s bathroom.Underwhelming dining – The promised “refined à la carte” cuisine was bland, cheaply prepared, and not reflective of a luxury experience. Be warned, if you want something as simple as a cappuccino you’ll have to pay for it - the cost of which is around $5. Overpriced for the quality received – The experience was not remotely worth the price they charge. The company admitted the ship’s upkeep was below standard in an email exchange, yet refused to offer fair compensation. We were forced to complain via our credit card company who quickly provided us a refund after reviewing the evidence. If you’re looking for a high-end quality cruise, I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere. This cruise was not worth the price tag, and the state of the ship and the service provided was incredibly disappointing. read less

You come to places... read moreWe went on the cruise from Saigon to Siem Reap (7 nights) in the beginning of January 25 and it was a fantastic journey! Some people disembarked after 3 days and I think they missed alot. You come to places you would never visit alone like schools, farms all kind of crafts they do in the region you visit. The guides we had were fantastic both on the Vietnam side and Cambodian side (we were group B)! All in all it was a very inspiring and educatuonal journey that I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the real Vietnam and Cambodia. The Jahan is a very nice boat and the staff did all they could to provide the best service. The Deluxe cabins are also very nice and clean. My only input for improvements to management is: 1. make it a real all inclusive with drinks and wine at all times (of cause not very expensive brands) and charge a little more and include the tip for the staff instead of saying it is usd 220-250 per cabin for a 7 night trip the final evening . 2. Many evenings there is a set meny and often the lunch buffet was better than the evening set meny. It would be good with more buffet evenings so there is something to choose from. Finally we had the same wine for lunch and dinner every evening for 7 days as a part of the all inclusive package. Why not give us a few wines to choose from? read less

All meals were excellent with good variety and options. Room was very comfortable with a private balcony. Facilities on board were perfect. Education and entertainment options (including lectures, Tai Chi, movies, and cooking classes) were perfect and illuminating. Off-boat cultural activities were well-designed and varied. Our guide (Tri) was entertaining, spoke great English, and was well-connected to the local communities. Cannot recommend highly enough. read less
