Myanmar is not safe to travel all around but we felt lucky when very few tourists anywhere we visited. read less

We had wonderful time from the beginning till the end. Soe Soe was our tour consultant. She tailored the tour according to our request and all went smoothly & safely. Sellected hotels were in good location, clean and comfortable with king size bed. It’s a private tour and the guides were flexible. Some long drives between locations, but comfortable vehicles. We visited some local markets and they were authentic highlights. Good value overall, though some temple visits got repetitive. I will fully recommend E-travel to anyone who wants to travel to Myanmar. read less

We traveled along the Mekong from Vietnam to Cambodia on the Jayavarman. Beautiful boat with only 27 guests. Luxurious wood panelled bedrooms with very comfortable beds and private balconies.Main deck had a great bar and restaurant serving excellent choice of food. Top deck had sun loungers and a very large jacuzzi- they call it a pool! The deck was used for early morning Tai Chi classes watching the water go by.The crew were ALL exceptional. Kind caring fun respectful. Nothing too much trouble The guides took us on educational excursions to see the artisans at work making silk and silver and ceramics. We saw villages and how locals live. Cambodia suffered the most appalling regime of hard communism under Pol Pot. Many Adults with any education were literally beaten to death by children trained to kill from 1976 to 1979. The Khmer Rouge continued gorilla warfare till 1997. It is estimated they killed upto 3 million people. The people want to erase that time from their memories and live in peace albeit under a one party state. Everyone we met were the kindest you could meet with broad smiles and genuine happiness at having tourists come. Please buy Cambodian goods and visit this beautiful country read less

The staff were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. We have never done a river cruise before and were not disappointed. The ship was small enough, it had 27 rooms which for us was the perfect size. If you want a larger room book the 2nd floor. The trips & guides were absolutely amazing very knowledgeable & informative which made all the trips even more interesting. read less

The staff are amongst the... read moreWe recently spent the most incredible week aboard the beautiful Jayarvaman ship, sailing from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap. This was the most amazing experience & we loved every second on this stunning ship. The staff are amongst the loveliest people we have ever come across, especially the ship manager Smey, who could not have been more helpful or informative, he speaks perfect English & went above & beyond to make sure every guest was completely looked after. The whole crew were wonderful , but I have to give a special mention to the bar staff, Chanty & Ly, who looked after us so well all week. Also Chyi & Phiron in the restaurant, who were also brilliant. They knew all our names after only being on the boat a matter of hours. We had a stateroom, which wasn’t over big but very comfortable with a superb decent size balcony. The bathroom was also lovely. Robes, slippers, toiletries & a decent hairdryer were all provided, as well as a kettle & mini bar. You also receive a fabulous water bottle, sunhat & other various gifts on a nightly basis. Rooms were serviced twice a day & always immaculate. The food was also great, with a buffet breakfast & lunch, & 5 course a la carte on an evening. Wine & beer was free flowing at meal times. The chef was fantastic, regularly doing show cooking, a bbq one night & also a cooking class one afternoon. The trips were also fantastic, there being a morning & afternoon trip each day, returning to the boat for lunch & swim/rest in between. The guides we had, Tri in Vietnam & Kinal/Ponleuo in Cambodia were extremely knowledgeable but also very entertaining & made the trips so memorable for everyone. We visited so many interesting places & met local people, all with an amazing story to tell. The trips are so well thought out & organised, using an earphone system so you don’t miss any detail & can hear the guide at all times. You are also informed about the trip details the night before & are welcome to relax on the boat if it’s not for you. However we did all the trips & rode on sampans, tuk tuks, ox pulled carts & more! Amazing! We also did the Tai Chi class on the top deck every morning at 6.30am, this was so amazing, listening to the relaxing music, watching the sun rise & sailing down the Mekong seeing villages come to life. This trip was something I will cherish the memory of for a long time. read less

The food was great, the staff were friendly and efficient, the room was stylish, comfortable, spacious and clean. We had a very relaxing time and are glad we included this on our trip. Yes the ship is a little tired but this didn’t retract from our enjoyment. The cooking class was great too. read less
