Tour Itinerary

Welcome upon arrival at the airport then we transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we visit Karaweik Hall a Royal barge on the Royal Lake for a photo stop, Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Later, we visit China Town, fruit market. Before having welcome dinner including an amazing cultural show at a fine local restaurant in town, we enjoy the sunset at the Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

We transfer to the airport in the early morning to take the short domestic flight to Bagan to visit the bustling Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan, explore the beauty and gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and furthermore, learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. In the afternoon, we visit Ananda Temple, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. End of the day, we enjoy the panoramic sunset view from the second highest pagoda of Bagan, the ShweSandaw Pagoda.

Today we continue our exploring the ancient city by taking an exotic horse cart ride to the Nan Paya Pagoda, one of the biggest temples in Bagan and many other interesting sites nearby. After that, we stop at Myinkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, take note of the architectural difference in MyaZedi Pagoda before heading to Manuha Temple. Before transferring to the airport to take a flight back to Yangon, we take a tour of a local lacquer ware workshops, learn how this traditional piece of art is made. Greetings at the Yangon airport then we transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast, we take a short Yangon tour to Sule Pagoda in the heart of Yangon city and Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda. If time permits we spend our last minutes shopping at the Scott Market then transfer to the airport for our flight home. Trip ends.
