Mingalaba! Welcome to Bagan, the largest archaeological area in Myanmar. Today meet your guide and take a scenic drive toward the northeast to Monywa, the city of interesting attractions. Along your way, make the first stop at Mohnyin Than Boddhay Pagoda where is famous for its unique shape and over 500, 000 Buddha images. Afterward, keep going to reach Bodi Tahtaung Pagoda to marvel at the world’s second-tallest giant standing Buddha images perched on the top of a hill. Upon arrive at Monywa, we will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and then enjoy your free time on your own.

In the afternoon, make your way to Kyaukka lacquerware village to have an interesting meet with the local artisans and learn about the way they create their beautiful items. Finally, visit Shwe Guni Pagoda, one of the 34,000 temples built by King Thin Dharma Thawka of Burmese.
