After breakfast, pick you up from the hotel, then have Inle lake boat tour to Sagar – a promising journey of enchantment. On the banks of Belu Chaung, there exists one unknown and mysterious village called “Sagar”. Previously, when princes Sawbwa ruled the territory, Sagar used to be a principality, having its own prince.
By one all is left of Sagar are ancient pagodas and monasteries, and the once bury town is now a village hidden away from the world and almost forgotten. Nowadays, the area is inhabited by Pa O, as hardworking as they are good-hearted.
The route to Sagar is in itself absolutely a journey of enchantment. Weaving through waters of Inlay and down South, beyond Taung –To village with its old pagodas, continuing to past Kyaing Kan village where they weave monk’s robes from fibers pulled from the lotus steams, the boat actually contributes to a magical process not known anywhere else in the world.
After passing the Kyaing Kan village, it is recommended to stop on a market, a gathering spot for the nationalities to see them arrayed in their colorful costumes and dropped with beads, chains, and coins. After that back to your hotel.
