Inle Lake Excursion – 1 Day
This Inle Lake trip allows us to explore the highlights of Inle Lake and its surrounding areas. See the unique leg-rowing fishermen and visit some of silk and cotton weaving villages. You also have a chance to visit the holiest sites in this area of Shan State, the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, and the Inn Thein Pagoda complex.
Your Inle Lake trip starts at your hotel in Inle Lake; you will explore Inle Lake by boat on, around Inle Lake there are many small villages. Once here, you may see the unique leg-rowing fishermen, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village lives and magnificent scenery.
Make your first visit to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the holiest sites in the area of Shan State. Marvel at five of the 800-year-old Buddha images. The next highlight is the weaving village of Inpawkhon. Here you will have a chance to explore one of the highest-quality fabrics in the world made from lotus around the lake.
Next up, soak in the lively local markets in the Inle Lake region (available on market days only), a great place to gaze out at the life and trading of the people.
After lunch, take a boat trip to the Western Shore of Inle Lake to see the hidden Shwe Indein Pagoda complex. Spend your time to discover one of the most amazing historical sights on the lakeshore which consisting of hundreds of magnificent stupas overgrown by moss and greens. Return to your hotel by boat through lush vegetation scenery. Trip ends. Thank you for making your trip with us!
