Then drive 24 km on the scenic road to Twante.
On arrival in Twante, explore this peaceful town which is known for its pottery. You will see many local potteries using traditional methods to craft earthenware, pass by rural neighborhoods and meet friendly locals. Visit a traditional pottery workshop, where the methods have remained over generations to generations. If you wish, try your hands on making a pot under the guidance of the local artisan is a great experience that ensures to excite you.
Enjoy a horse cart ride and head to Shwesandaw Pagoda – one of the popular tourist attractions in Burma famous for its 75 meters high stupa in which the sacred hair of the Lord Buddha is enshrined.
Late on, returning to Yangon by road through idyllic villages, rice paddies, and river landscapes. Return to Yangon around 15:30. Trip ends.
